Membership Meetings -- When & Where
Monthly Membership meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at the
Christ Church at 7th & Michigan, Slidell, La beginning at 7 p.m.
Artist of the Month (AOM)
Artist of the Month monthly competition begins prior to those meetings at 6:30 p.m.
Members bring in a piece of work to be voted on by your peers. There are two levels:
Master and Apprentice. All artists taking part in the AOM must sign the AOM Agreement
and fill out a small Artist Bio. (Please read and follow the AOM Agreement for guidelines
to avoid dis-qualification.)
Awards/Display Locations
Master:
Apprentice:
The Master Artist of the Year, Apprentice Artist of the Year and the Salt Artist of the
Year, share a six week show to display their talent. The location of the Art Show in
2011 will be in the Cultural Center Gallery in City Hall in Old Towne Slidell, 2055 2nd
Street. Show will begin August 19, 2011 and end September 30,2011. Hours of the
show are Tues through Fri. 12-4 pm and Saturday 9-12.
