I moved to Louisiana in 1996 after falling in love with and
marrying Louisiana native, Michael Vicknair. My interest in
plants, herbs in particular, and photography began when I lived
in California. Michael has nurtured both of those interests. His
support has enabled me to explore both fields, eventually
blending them into a fledgling business, Simply Seen, Original
Photography by Suzanne Vicknair. I am a member of
Northshore Herb Society, the Herb Society of America, Slidell
Photography Club, St. Tammany Art Association, St. Bernard
Art Guild and the Slidell Art League. I display in the League’s
monthly shows and have photo note cards, framed pieces, and
matted enlargements for sale in the League’s Gift Shop at the
Gallery upstairs in the Olde Train Depot.
