Volunteer Opportunities

You are probably thinking to yourself ‘I really should get more involved in the day-to-
day operations of SAL.

Now, there are 15+ ways to volunteer, and many of them can be done from home.
Here are some ways you can participate:

⇒Computer Work
⇒Show—intake, pickup, hanging, etc.
⇒Seeking event sponsors
⇒Receptions
⇒Fund raising
⇒Grants
⇒Membership Development
⇒Communications: Publicity, Newsletter, TV/Radio media contact
⇒Telephone committee
⇒Mail outs
⇒OPTA Our Part Through Art
⇒SALT Slidell Art League Teens
⇒Art Instruction
⇒Working with children
⇒Special Projects

Computer skills and grant writing assistance are especially needed right now. This
can be done from home.

SAL must rely heavily on volunteers at this time in order for it to run efficiently
and smoothly. By volunteering just 12 hours or more per quarter, you would be
eligible for a Free Workshop of your choice.

Please complete the Volunteer Opportunities form and send it by email or mail to
SAL or bring it to the next meeting.
