During the time you volunteer, you represent All members
of the Slidell Art League -- you are the face and voice of SAL.

Hours are as follows:
10 am - 4 pm Tuesday through Friday
10 am - 2 pm Saturday
Closed Sunday and Monday
Plan to be at the gallery on or before your designated time.
If you are the first to arrive at the gallery, do the following:
Unlock the Lock Box on the railing by the front door, using a code that will be provided to you.
Turn on the lights and set the thermostat to a more comfortable level, recommended setting: 72 - 73 degrees.

Sign In on the "Volunteers Sheet" located in the office.
Your main duties are to answer the phone in a friendly, professional manner and to greet and interact with
visitors.
There may be a "To Do" list on the desk.
Tackle whatever task(s) you are comfortable in doing.
If you close the gallery, do the following:
Reset the thermostat to a higher temperature, recommended 79 - 80 degrees. (Summer)
Turn off office equipment and lights.
Lock the door. Be sure it is locked. Using the code, unlock the lock box and deposit the key. Lock securely.
