Effective immediately, all SAL workshops, with the exception of the Bottles &
Brushes, are $25 for members and $35 for non members.
By reducing the fees, not only will members and the public be able to come to
more workshops, but for only $5 more non-members can join SAL and take
advantage of the extra savings all year long! Memberships are $40 for individuals,
$50 for a family.
Slidell Art League (SAL) artists provide instruction and guidance during Saturday
and Evening art specific workshops. These workshops are open to the public for
a small fee. Our workshops have included classes in Oils, Pastels, Acrylics,
Drawing and Plein Aire. These classes will be offered throughout the year, with
the addition of Adobe Photoshop, Photography, Jewelry, Watercolor, Paper
Collage & Cartooning. Our goal is to give the community the opportunity to
experiment in many different types of mediums without incurring a large cost. It is
our belief that there is an artist in everyone. These budding artists are offered the
opportunity to “find their inner artist” with the assistance of our workshops. Each
participant takes home their artwork ready to hang!
Pre-payment and Pre-registration is required for all workshops!
